This course is for anyone who has asked themselves “Who am I? How can I be at peace? How may I realise my full potential? Where is true freedom to be found? What is justice? How can I be truly happy? What is the purpose of my life? What am I doing here?” It is for those who want to expand their world, their thinking, and the view they have of themselves.
Today meditation has embedded itself within our culture and its immense benefits are increasingly recognised. It is applied across fields as wide ranging as leadership training, elite sports performance and emotional intelligence.
The School of Philosophy is a registered not-for-profit organisation and has been offering courses in Belgium for over 40 years. Founded on the principle that everything stems from unity, the School’s courses explore how anyone can achieve self-knowledge and inner peace. From there, anyone may find true happiness, live more consciously and fulfil their potential.

The Practical Philosophy course is given in English on Monday evenings. It is also give in French on Mondays, and in Dutch on Mondays (Antwerp) and Wednesdays (Brussels). Visit our French or Dutch language version websites for more information on dates, times and venues.
For the next 10-week Introduction to Practical Philosophy course, fees are reduced to €90 (from the usual termly rate of €135). A reduced fee of €40 applies to under 25s and full-time students. This fee is fully refundable any time during the first three weeks for anyone who does not wish or is unable to continue for any reason.
